Hi I want to share with you one of my latest creations, I think I told you I belong to several Yahoo- groups, in embellishments-galore yahoo group there was a digitizing challenge.
Genene our mom group asked us to create rectangles of any type of fabric and any color she only asked us to respect certain measurements.
And I want to share with you my creation.
I added some beads to give more sparkle and I really like how it looks
To create the ornament I used the 4D digitizing software, I created a design to do applique rectangles, my choice for fabrics was organza fabrics and Angelina fibers. I chose these fabrics because I like how they shine. If you want information about Angelina I recommend visiting Embellishment Village they have videos and techniques. But I bought my Angelina at Embellishment Galore.
Here are my pictures I hope you will enjoy.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !!!!

My Treasure Box

Hi I want to share with you another creation that I made in the group Roses On My Table, ahhhh what could I do without Cristina Zinnia, our instructor  and all the  members of that group that are  outstanding!
With her video tutorials she taught us to make a treasure box from a wooden box, she showed us aging
techniques and also how to create relief on the wooden box and gave us ideas to decorate the interior of the box and create mini folios that in my case it will serve to put photos. As always, her videos are easy to follow and you will have many many hours of pleasure to do the project.

I put some pictures to share with you, enjoy and leave me a comment if you want.

My First Accordion Book

Two months ago I’ve the chance to join Roses On My Table’s group.
At that moment the project was an accordion book, I’ve told myself that I had to make it.
My accordion book was inspired by Cristina Zinnia our instructor. It is my first project and the video tutorial was so clear that it was easy to make it.
If someone wants to learn different techniques this is the place to start.
The images that I’ve used were from Lisa s Altered Art

It was nice experience and I’ve taken my time to put the final touch because every time I’ve looked at I wanted to add an embellishment the good thing is that it that will be continued.

Dance and Dream

Today I want to show another picture made  with Photoshop Elements 6. It is one of the techniques we learned in the workshop. The technique name was Shadow and Play. I gave the name Dance and Dream to my creation. I like how it looks after the transformation and I also like the butterfly effect. When the workshop started I had no clue about Photoshop so when I see what I can do now is rewarding.

The digital workshop 4 has started

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog. This is my first post and I’m so excited. To start I’ll say that I love create and I enjoy doing digital art. Right now I am doing a workshop with Cynthia Powell and Sherre Hulbert. This week we have started the workshop # 4 and the first technique that we are learning is creating a logo/watermark. I practice this technique with a montage that I created with a vintage picture of my grandmother.
